The next few pictures are of the condo we stayed at. We have a timeshare at The Lodge Alley Inn. Just love that place. It was the first time we had stayed there. These are shots of the inside of our loft.

More pictures to come of the Charleston Aquarium and the beautiful old homes of Charleston.

We took a mini vacation for a few days for my birthday. We went to Charleston as I had never been there. Just simply fell in love with the place. So much history and beauty! We had very good weather…was in the 70’s (in February).

We missed our exit and went straight over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, also known as the New Cooper River Bridge.

We saw the USS Yorktown in the harbor. It is open to the public to tour.

We decide to go and take the self guided tour. I have never climbed up and down so many ladders! The ship is so large. We could have gotten lost if not for the tour arrows painted on the floor…LOL.

I will post more pictures in the next few days. Have some of the beautiful homes.

I ran across this lingerie chest last weekend. It needed painting badly. I went to work on it and loved it once I got done. I forgot to take a before picture but did manage to find one online. The drawers are a little different but it gives you an idea of the before color….yellow creamy with gold highlights.

This little beauty has been sold from my booth at Apple Dumplin’ Antiques.

Before

Here is the “after” picture with a fresh paint job! I painted it a white and distressed it slightly. It is in my booth at Apple Dumplin’ Antiques and is “For Sale”!
